Chaoda Valves has obtained CE certification from the European Union.
CE certification is limited to basic safety requirements regarding the safety of humans, animals, and goods, not general quality requirements. Harmonized directives only stipulate essential requirements; general requirements are the task of standards. Therefore, the accurate meaning is: the CE mark is a safety conformity mark, not a quality conformity mark. It represents the “essential requirements” that form the core of European directives.
The “CE” mark is a safety certification mark, considered a passport for manufacturers to access the European market. CE stands for European Conformity (CONFORMITE EUROPEENNE). In the EU market, the “CE” mark is a mandatory certification mark. Whether a product is manufactured within the EU or in other countries, it must bear the “CE” mark to circulate freely in the EU market, indicating that it complies with the basic requirements of the EU’s “New Approach to Technical Harmonization and Standardization” directives. This is a mandatory requirement under EU law.
In response to new changes in the relevant clauses of EU CE certification, Chaoda submitted its product certification application and successfully obtained it. Since first obtaining EU CE certification in 2014, Chaoda valve products have passed certification, fully demonstrating that the “Chaoda” brand has successfully entered the international market and gained recognition from international authoritative organizations.
