The Shenhua Coal Liquefaction Project is a major undertaking for China’s petroleum substitution strategy and independent innovation. Central leaders attach great importance to it, requiring all relevant departments and units to prioritize the overall situation, strengthen coordination, cooperate closely, and go all out to actively support Shenhua Group in its commissioning work.
The coal liquefaction and gasification units utilize a large number of imported wear-resistant ball valves, which are expensive and have slow delivery cycles. Chaoda Valves possesses leading domestic R&D and manufacturing capabilities in hard-seal ball valves and wear-resistant ball valves. Chaoda has undertaken the task of localizing the production of wear-resistant ball valves for the Shenhua Coal Liquefaction Project, and some products are already in use in the equipment, thus achieving localization of wear-resistant ball valves and shortening delivery times.
