Western Cooperation, Mutual Benefit and Win-Win. From June 20th to 21st, Huang Hui, Secretary of the County Party Committee, led a delegation of county government officials and business representatives to Hongyuan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, to carry out counterpart support work. They discussed the deep friendship between the two regions and strived to create a new situation in the new round of counterpart support work. Wang Ce, General Manager of Chaoda Valve Group, participated in the inspection and attended the meeting, and visited and extended his regards to the cadres and talents in the assisted region.
Yang Wensong, Secretary of the Hongyuan County Party Committee, warmly welcomed the delegation from Yongjia County and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for Yongjia County’s long-term, dedicated assistance to Hongyuan. He said he hoped that the two regions would strengthen exchanges and cooperation in broader fields and at a deeper level in education, medical care, science and technology, culture and tourism. Hongyuan will also build the assisted projects well, manage the assisted industries well, utilize the assisted funds well, and serve the assisted talents well.
A donation ceremony and a signing ceremony were held at the meeting. Yongjia County donated counterpart support funds and educational and sports to Hongyuan County; Yongjia Rural Commercial Bank donated special funds for labor cooperation and “love jobs” in Hongyuan County; and Chaoda Valve Group donated 200,000 yuan for educational assistance in Hongyuan County.
On this land once trodden by the Red Army, across the vast grasslands of Hongyuan’s 8,400 square kilometers, the political, economic, social, ecological, and talent benefits of East-West cooperation and counterpart support are evident everywhere, reflecting the deep friendship between Tibetans and Han Chinese, and between private enterprises. With the dedicated support of enterprises from all sectors of society, Hongyuan has contributed to poverty alleviation, enhanced ethnic unity, strengthened development momentum, and improved its happiness index. Chaoda hopes to continue strengthening cooperation in industrial development, education and healthcare, and regional culture, and will provide further support and assistance.
